Has my security been breached?
-
I recently published this entry https://santiagoes.wordpress.com/2011/05/23/del-discurso-honesto/. My account is set to automatically publish in both my Twitter and Facebook accounts. Nevertheless, after I clicked on Publish, a message I had not encountered before asked me whether I wanted to connect to my Facebook account, and that I would have to click Allow messages a number of times. After this, my https connection broke down, and a ‘Hacker, if you can read this I can offer you a job’ message appeared in my share link status update in Facebook. I deleted the entry and created a new one. After I published this second one, the same unknown Facebook account connect message appeared, which I ignored, and everything worked fine this time.
Please let me know if I should worry or if you need any more info.

Hi, I don’t think you have anything to worry about here. This sounds like a glitch in things and if the next publish action didn’t cause anything odd to happen it should be back to normal.
The job offer bit is something that we have embedded in some headers. In this case it was a glitch that it came through but in normal cases it’s just a bit of a joke/job tip we put for people looking at that data. Sorry for the alarm.
