Has my website name changed by upgrading to premium?
-
I upgraded to premium and find that the website name has changed from stefannicholson.com to stefannicholson.wordpress.com on my receipt. All my paperwork states stefannicholson.com so I would like to keep it that way.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com Upgrades, like a custom domain or the WordPress.com Premium Plan, need to be associated with a WordPress.com site. In your case, the site is stefannicholson.wordpress.com.
If you need to view/print/email your receipts for any transaction, you can do so by going to Store > Billing History in your Dashboard.
Note that when you click on ‘View/Print’ for any transaction, you can change the ‘Billed to’ section by hovering over it. When you click inside the box, you can edit the text.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

So then it is true, I have lost the domain stefannicholson.com which expires on November 6th 2014?
I need to keep the original, renew the stefannicholson.com and lose the paid-up premium upgrade. I was unaware such a drastic change would occur. It affects paperwork, advertising flyers, business cards and online sites where I am listed.
Can you please just renew stefannicholson.com

Stefan Nicholson -
No, your custom domain, stefannicholson.com, is associated with your WordPress.com site, stefannicholson.wordpress.com, and is valid through 2015-11-06:

If you just want to keep your domain, stefannicholson.com, but no longer require the WordPress.com Premium Plan, let me know, and I will remove it and refund the difference.

Thank you for your explanation pmciano.
I am very happy keeping the stefannicholson.com domain but no longer require the Premium Plan.
I am impressed with the ease of use and professional appearance of the WordPress website designs.
best regards,

Thank you for the WordPress love!
I’ve removed and refunded your WordPress.com Premium Plan, as requested. Please keep in mind that it takes 1-2 weeks for the transaction to show up on your financial statement.
If you have any more questions regarding this transaction, let me know :-)
