Has my WP site been hacked?

  his morning I found the following email alert in my in box.

  I was able to log onto my site and the wordfence protection had been switched off!

  Can you tell me what’s going on? Have I been hacked?

  A user with username ” deactivated Wordfence on your WordPress site.
  User IP: 127.0.0.1
  User hostname: localhost

  Hi,
  it looks like your site is developed in wordpress.org and here is forum of wordpress.com. Mind the difference https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/.

  You need to write in wordpress.org forums https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  @wildernessadventures1, I’ve removed most of the email you’d shared since there were potentially sensitive details scattered throughout it.

  I’d contact your host, and also look for information in the correct forums at https://wordpress.org/support

  You might also contact WordFence support. Good luck!
