Has the Links widget changed?
-
I tried adding a link to my blogroll this morning but when I go to Appearance > Widgets and then click on Links, all I see is “there are no options for this widget” and a choice of either Delete or Close. All the links I posted previously are still visible and live on my site. What I see in Appearance > Widgets is not what the WordPress.com instructions show. Am I missing something obvious? Has some change been made to this widget? What’s going on?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot enter links into the widget itself. The Links widget merely displays the links we enter in our dashboard “Links”. We enter a new link this way > http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/add-a-blogroll-link/

Ah! Now I remember (although that’s not how WordPress explains it in their support section. Thank you! It worked like a charm :)

Adding links is something we don’t usually do very often so I’m not surprised you forgot the where and how. You’re welcome and best wishes for happy blogging. :)

“What I see in Appearance > Widgets is not what the WordPress.com instructions show.” Obviously you’re talking about the Links Widget doc:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/links-widget/
In most themes the Link widget is as shown on that doc, but some themes have a simpler Links widget with no options. But in all themes blogroll links are added the way timethief explained (and the link she gave is also there on the Links Widget doc).
