has wordpress released domain?

I tried to post this a few minutes ago, but my phone shutdown so reposting incase it did not work.
I refunded a domain name I bought as I got confused between WordPress and another website and my website building skill is limited.
Of course, I accepted that the domain name might be bought up by someone else before I could rebuy, but that would be unlikely as the domain name was pretty obscure and random.
However a week past, and the domain name was still not available. I don’t need the domain enough to buy it from someone else so just wanted to know if it was released so I can go buy a different domain name. If WordPress hasn’t released, then I can wait to rebuy the domain with a different site.
