hatch: customise to limit number of posts on front page

  Hi Guys,
  I’m trying to set Hatch up to only show the 8 most recent posts on the home page of my site. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do it!
  Can anyone help with this?
  Does hatch have a weighting feature, where posts I deem more important can be tacked to the top of the page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Howdy! Just popping in to confirm that due to Hatch’s design it will only display 8 posts on the home page, regardless of the settings in Settings -> Reading.

  (The Customizer will display differently because it doesn’t display with Infinite Scroll.)
