Hatch theme: Changing order of posts

  I’m using the Hatch theme as a portfolio and I want to be able to put my posts in my own order, not in publication order.

  I also want to be able to choose what image introduces each post as opposed to it picking the first uploaded image; I don’t mean the featured image, but the picture covered by the title that you click through to the post.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Then edit the timestamp of each post to change the order.

  Any ideas on the image that shows on the homepage?
