Hatch theme going all weird on me.
-
Hi. First of all, i’m using the free version, cause… well… $30 bucks.
Anyway, when you first enter the blog kinleonn.net it’s totally normal. it’s only when you start clicking on the blog posts, and then pressing the back key, the home page starts acting up. Instead of showing all the posts like it did when you first opened the website, it starts showing different pages for the blog posts. Like, page 1, 2 and 3. Try clicking on the lower blog posts. The first few are OK because I think they’re meant to be on the first page anyway.
Is there any way to make it standard among all the blog posts, so that they’re either in pages or all in one page?
Hope you see what I’m trying to say. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It seems like only the last page (page 3) has an option below to change the page. Page 2 is just a clump of posts without any options, and I have to click the Home button to go back to normal. Page 1 is, well, normal, which is just all the posts again.

Another alternative: is there a way to make each post open in a new tab when you click on it?

Howdy,
It sounds like you’re seeing the proper behavior for paginated views on your blog. Here’s an idea of what’s happening:
1) You visit kinleonn.net and scroll to the bottom. As you do so, your posts load continuously — this is called Infinite Scroll
2) You click on a post in the last row of posts
3) You hit your browser’s Back button
4) You’re brought to a page that only shows some of your posts. This is because you’re now viewing a paginated view of your blog — if you look at the URL, you’ll notice it’s no longer simply kinleonn.net, it’s kinleonn.net/page/3/Infinite Scroll “remembers” your page position and brings you directly to it, instead of to the beginning of your blog. This makes sense for users who have hundreds of posts — if you clicked on the hundredth post, you probably wouldn’t want to have to go back and scroll through all of them to get back to your original position.
The best way to change this behavior is to go to Settings -> Reading and deselect the “Scroll Infinitely” option. That will produce an “Older Posts” button users can click to page through the site instead.
I hope this makes sense!
