Hateful Comment

  Hi, I’m being stalked by someone who wrote hateful things on a page that is from a long time ago. Are you able to track them?

  Thank you it’s a comment on my WordPress. I have used the form to report it. I hope you hold the other user accountable for making disgusting comment.

  Did you delete the comment? If not, you can do so by going to the comments section on your dashboard and deleting the comment in question. For the complete steps, please visit our support page:

  If this user is following you, there is no effective way to block subscribers, so it would be ineffective to provide the ability to manually unfollow or unsubscribe a user. A follower could create a new account, username, or e-mail address and refollow the blog. Since IP addresses are dynamic, blocking the address would not work either. Also, other users who are currently on the same IP address might inadvertently be blocked as well.

  However, I have a few recommendations: Make sure comment moderation is turned on Settings > Discussion so that all comments have to be approved. That way, nothing will get through to the public side of your site without your approval. You can also add this user’s email, IP address, username, etc., into the disallowed comment field, any comments that contain any of those words will go straight to the trash.

  

  Alternatively, you can set your site to private and then invite only those that you desire to view your site.
