Have 2 domains on wordpress.com, one says can’t login (login is the same)?!
-
Hi,
So I am logged in to my wordpress.com where I have 2 domains on the same account. I can add a blog post to first one with no issue. Then when I want to do the same to the second one, it asks me to log in again. When I try, it says “Error: The username XXX is not registered on this site. If you are unsure of your username, try your email address instead.” When I try email, it says there is no such account?! At literally the same moment I am logged in with exact that email and looking on my username on WordPress so it is correct. I tried Firefox and Edge (edge with cleared cookies) and it didnt resolve anything. I changed passwords but it doesnt do anything. What does it mean and what should I do?
SoniaThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out! After reviewing your account, I see that you have one Starter plan and one domain registered: bazaslowian.pl. However, the domain you mentioned, allslavic.pl, is not registered with WordPress.com.
It’s essential to clarify the distinction between different versions of “WordPress” to avoid any confusion:
- The free, open-source WordPress software powers your website.
- WordPress.org is the open-source project where you can obtain the software for free to use with your chosen hosting provider.
- WordPress.com is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.
While the website allslavic.pl is using the WordPress software, it is hosted elsewhere. Therefore, you wouldn’t be able to log into that site using your WordPress.com account.
I hope this clears things up! Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
