Have 2 profiles – want just 1. Or use 1 e-mail address with both

  Through the years I have made myself two different WP profiles, one of them based on my workplace e-mail address. Soon leaving that job, I’d like to merge my two profiles or at least use my gmail account with both profiles. But no: “That e-mail address is already being used”.
  What do I do?

  The links say Page not found. Please delete the en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/ part from the browser’s address bar and hit enter.
