Have a current domain, need to create a new website

  I need to create a new website, we have used wordpress before, however it isn’t on wordpress now. Don’t know the best way to handle this. What do you recommend? What steps do I take white I recreate the website?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  We have two ways you can use a domain you already own with a site hosted here at WordPress.com:

  Domain Connection allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
