have already purchased a premium version; how can I access a premium theme
-
Hello – I have already purchased a premium version while I was on Greyzed theme, which is free.
I am totally new to the administration aspects of blogging, and it takes me huge amounts of time just to understand the specific language; all I need is to establish my domain (how can I move on to a premium theme without having to pay again – say, Solar?), choose a premium theme and have some customization (colors and character type – these I can do myself). Would it be possible to do that inside the 99$ that I already payed? Please help. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
Just to clarify, you did purchase the Premium bundle on the site patternsofsouldevelopment.wordpress.com. However, that’s a bit different than the Premium themes shown here:
https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sort/premium/
Those would need to be purchased separately as they don’t come with the Premium bundle. Under your Themes page here:
https://patternsofsouldevelopment.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php
You can use the Preview option to see what the theme looks like on your site before purchasing!

Hi Jeremey,
All clear; I’ve been there, to the Premium Themes, and all happened exactly as you say here: they ask me to buy a new theme at its displayed price, or else I can buy the whole bundle: 120$to access any theme of the Premium bundle. However my problem is that I have already payed the 99$ and I’m not really into losing these and paying another 75, or 120$ just like that.
I guess my problem started when I misread (??) two weeks ago some place that, by paying the premium bundle I can access any theme.
I have already changed my primary domain to xxx.com. In your opinion, I can ask for a refund (partial??) to then pay the difference for premium themes? For my situation of a beginner blogger, what would make my life easier, the actual premium bundle with customizing privileges, or a premium (user-friendly) theme? Can you advice what can I do now?
Thank you. -
Hi,
We can definitely do a partial refund of the Premium bundle purchase ($73), which would be the total cost ($99) minus the cost of the domain ($26) so you could then apply those funds to a theme that you like.
It really boils down to whether or not you are going to want the features included in the Premium bundle shown here:
A few big ones:
– Custom Design – this allows you to change colors and fonts on your site.
– VideoPress – this gives you the ability to upload videos directly to your site without hosting them on YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
– Space Upgrade – this gives you an extra 10GB of space on your site for photos, audio, and video.
Since you’re just getting started, I would probably do the partial refund and purchase a theme you like unless you’re going to be using any of the features listed above right out of the gate (if you wanted to have an audio blog for example). You can always upgrade to the Premium bundle at a later date!

Thank you, I appreciate your prompt and helpful response. I am going to consider whether I should buy with the Premium package a new theme also.
Thanks again. -
No problem! Let me know what you decide. I’m happy to help you set it up moving forward.
