Have catgories listed on Dashboard but wont’t show up on site

  I created two categories that show up on Dashboard, I checked both categories and clicked “Apply” but the don’t show up on my site. Anyone know why?

  Categories will not show up in the categories widget until they have been assigned to a published post otherwise if someone clicked on the category name, there would be nothing to show them.
