have costumized every page but my home page. why can't i customize it?

  Hello, i’m having considerable trouble customizing the home page even though I have successfully done all my other pages. am I not suppsed to be able to change background pictures on this theme’s home page? should I just get another theme?

  You should be able to do it through the Header Image section of the customiser. Have you already tried that? If so what happened?
