Have domain name and hosting thru Go Daddy and need to use the domain for WP

    I’m creating a site for the company I work for. They already have hosting with GD and purchased the domain name thru them as well. We found and purchased a WP theme from Mojo Marketplace. How can I transfer the domain over from Go Daddy? Also, how do I add the purchased theme to the WP site?

    Hi there,

    If your company has a domain name and hosting with GoDaddy, you don’t need to transfer anything over to WordPress.com. You can do everything directly with GoDaddy — we call that self-hosting your site (using the WordPress software from WordPress.org), rather than hosting it at WordPress.com. You can read more about WordPress.com and WordPress.org if you’d like to learn about the differences.

    If you’d like more help setting up that site at GoDaddy, you can contact GoDaddy support about that or post for help in the WordPress.org forums.
