Have I been charged for my account????

    I need someone from wordpress to notify me if I have been charged for a domain name. All contact comes back to this page which is really unhelpful when you have a 2 day time limit to cancel a payment. The “Cancel” button is not available in the settings bar to deactivate payment. Does this mean that the payment did not go through?? The page froze when I was making the payment so I do not have a confirmation or payment cancelation notice.
    I wanted a domain name “.org” not “dotorg” as it has now come up. Does this wrong domain name mean that the payment did not go through??? AC

    Hi there,
    Your new domain at http://latestcraze.org/ is being mapped to from your blog. To cancel that domain mapping see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/#cancel-domain

    Are you sure you do not wish to keep the domain name and use it somewhere else?

    If you cancel a domain, it is held by the domain registrar and may be sold in auction or otherwise made unavailable to you. If you wish to use it with a different hosting platform, in most cases all you need to do is update the nameservers

    You can also transfer the domain to a different registrar. There is no cost to do so but the new registrar will likely require you to renew it for at least one year with them.

    For a few platforms they require a bit more assistance (A Records/CNAMEs), so if that’s the case in your situation you need to type modlook into the sidebar of this thread for Staff assistance.

    As @timethief mentioned, the domain transaction was processed. Currently your domain is:

    latestcraze.org

    Please note that the domain: latestcrazedotorg.wordpress.com never deletes, which is actually a good thing so if you one day decide not to renew the domain or it expires accidentally all your content will still be available at latestcrazedotorg.wordpress.com.

    However, as long as you keep your domain renewed, your readers will see your site at latestcraze.org. Even if they go to latestcrazedotorg.wordpress.com they will be automatically redirected to latestcraze.org.
