Have I been scammed?

  After interviewing a number of potential web designers I decided on one. She has shown me a beautiful site insisting it was created through WordPress with the account information I gave her: http://2gmedicalstaffing.com/?fbclid=IwAR2BlpZE1am7hxyGh182oNMhl6Jc_z-6YPd3Ta-GZAcyJkuzlN07IuGNyYk

  But when I use my login information, it looks nothing like what she’s showed me: https://wordpress.com/home/2gmedicalstaffing.wordpress.com

  Is there a chance I’ve been scammed? Or do you actually show a website for my company 2G Medical Staffing?

  Hi there, your site 2gmedicalstaffing.com is hosted on Domain.com and isn’t connected to your website 2gmedicalstaffing.wordpress.com which is hosted here on WPcom

  WPcom (where we are ) is a hosted WP platform while WordPress is software that anyone can install on a 3rd party server. Each has its own documentation and support forums which you can read more about here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

  You’ll want to contact your designer or your web hosting provider and get the log in credentials for your WP site.
