Have I bought the wrong program?

  I’ve heard of many developers using WordPress to create websites now, and after paying $99 I can’t seem to find anyway of creating a layout for the site just a choice of 40 ish free templates that all look like blogs, I was under the impression you could use WordPress as a professional website not just a blog am I wrong?

  Hi, You can use the custom design upgrade to style your site however you like. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

  Although perhaps you should look into the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t want to worry about hosting your own website the .com is the way to go.
