Have multiple post appear on single page?

How do I make multiple posts appear on a single page in reverse chronological order so that the most recent post is towards the top? Right now the way I have it set up the homepage is just an “about me blurb” and you have to click on the links on the side panel to go each post on its own separate page. I want it to be set so that the homepage has all of the posts on it with links on the side to navigate through them and then I have a separate “about me” page that links from the home page. Also I would like it if the posts on the homepage get to be too much that there would be a “previous and next” button at the bottom of the page and it would continue on to home/page 1, home/page 2 …. etc. I don’t really know HTML so hopefully this can be done by rearranging things and changing settings. If HTML is necessary then please explain it as simply as you can.

Thank you for any and all advice

Well the reason your blog is that way right now is because you have a static page as you home page.

goto your dashboard lleft coulumn-> Settings–> Reading
    -You see “Front Page Displays
    * you will see “Static Page” and “Front Page”; remember that page title name for now.
-Now go above that in click “Your Latest Posts
    -save.

This will put your posts on your home page.

After that I’m not sure if the previous home page will be visible,
    but will assume its not:

Following the instructions for Menus here:

    Menus

You use that previous home page as an about page, that can be found on your menu bar.

That last line should read as:

You can use that previous home page as your new “About” page and you can make a selection for it to be found on your Menu.

one more note; You can either change the name of your old front page to “About” (or to anything else you wish) Before you create a menu withe instructions above,
—you would do this by reediting the pages title in the editor
or you can just change the selection to click on you menu bar, while making the menu.

    As for this…

I would like it if the posts on the homepage get to be too much that there would be a “previous and next” button at the bottom of the page and it would continue on to home/page 1, home/page 2 …. etc.

…you don’t have to do anything. After you set your homepage to display your latest posts, your homepage will work that way. In the theme you’re using, the previous/next buttons will be “Older Posts” / “Newer Posts”. Check the theme demo:
    http://mystiquedemo.wordpress.com/
The default is 10 posts per page; you can change that in Settings>Reading.
