Have posts been lost in the past minutes?

drmike, is it ok to add a new post notifying whoever comes to my blog now, that there are problems with hosting service, and that’s why the posts and pages are missing, and to check later, or will it make problems with the restoring of the posts?

Similar note: I tried changing the name of my feeddigest feed a while back and the RSS feed to the html page went pssft… apparently some conflict with Google web accelerator (Take note…) . It was still on the server, and the sysadmin reconstructed… The ACCESS, not the files themselves.

Yep, mine’s gone too. I am absolutely 1000% certain that all will be restored to its WP blogging goodness in time.
Whilst I can’t say for these guys, I can speak about my own experience. If we lose a server at my place of work for any reason and have to do a complete restore it takes something like nine hours. That’s more than 1 working day. I am well aware that this is a holiday weekend, but I am pretty sure that the dev/admin/god team are working on it as fffast as they can.
Be patient folks and all will be restored. :)

yea, my blog is gone now too, maybe this is a good thing. They may in the process of taking everything down and putting all the backed up stuff back online

I’m having the same issues mentioned above. My blog does not have any of its posts either.

I uploaded an mp3 file last night (New York 16th April, 2006 12:15 a.m.). It’s still there. I am not sure about the posts but they seem to be gone forever.

This morning posted and when I went to view my new post, all the blogdata was gone. Did the post actually post or was it lost in the ether? Who knows
I guess I’ll find out if my newest post was lost when the world comes back.

Anyone want me to start deleteing the posts made by people who are just posting “Me too” and are not reading any of the previous posts?
