Have registered domain, but can't access site:(

Hello! I have purchaised a Premium plan and registered a new domain (searchofbalance.com) mre than 3 days ago, but nothing has changed: I still cannot access my site; when I tap ‘view site’ a get a “page unavailable” message. In My Domains it says “DNS needs to be updated” all this time. What can be the problem? Thanks a lot in advance!!

Hi there. GoDaddy shows that domain as available to register, so it seems you haven’t registered it yet. Please try registering it again by going to Store ->My Domains in your WordPress.com dashboard. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/
Let us know if it still won’t work.

Hi! Thanks for your support. I tried that, but all I get is: The domain name you entered is already mapped to a WordPress.com blog. Though yes, at the beggining it shows as if it’s available. Something strange is going on….

The something probably went wrong when you tried to register it the first time. I’ll tag this for staff to follow up. Please be patient while waiting for them to respond. Keep in mind many people are taking a long weekend, so it might take longer than usual to get a response.

It looks like there was an error with the registration so searchofbalance.com was not registered correctly. Can you try re-registering the domain? You shouldn’t be charged anything additional!
