Have the stats algorithms changed recently??

  I was wondering if the stats programs have been ‘upgraded’ recently? I ask as my figures have slumped drastically since Monday 3rd Feb.

  I know all about Reader based views not showing up etc, and the disparage between ‘likes’ and ‘views’, but whilst there has been no slowdown in the volume of ‘likes’, ‘comments’ and ‘new followers’, the ‘views have dropped by 70%.

  As a former programmer, I have to ask the question, “What’s changed in the code?”

  This is continuing and this sudden drop in numbers is across the board, so I am still wondering…

  I was hoping ‘staff’ or ‘Timethief’ (http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com) could provide some guidance :(
