    No.

Go to the dashboard Posts->ALL POSTS page. Select all. Set to Private, then set back to Public.

And, again, I don’t see how to. Should I guess? You seem to be saying ‘yes’.

Click The box below the Bulk Actions. That selects all posts on that page. Click Bulk Action->Edit Then go through them and set them to Private and back to Public, one at a time if need be.

Go through over 500 posts? Seriously? And that’s ‘Bulk’? Before I’m very dizzy going in circles, because I don’t need sleep, Can you perhaps do what I do and ‘show’ me? It takes me all of one minute to put an image up in the cloud and pass you a link to it. So I’m not asking you to do something that will take a long time. But if I actually have to go through over 500 posts…

You have to go far back enough to find the error. If it’s happening on older posts, maybe start from the oldest post and move forward till the problem vanishes. You can set the page to display 50 posts at a time, so that’s ten pages of clicks to do. It’ll take you less than an hour.

    Again, What’s ‘Bulk’ mean? Please.

And why, O why, is there no longer instructions, in one easy to locate place, on how to use WP? In case it’s happening; Don’t get angry at me. I’d rather not be asking these questions.

This is incredible! And I don’t mean incredible in a happy way. A quick question about changing from public to private and back again. There’s a box that says ‘okay’. Is toggling that sufficient or do I have to save draft and then, on the return to public, save draft again and then click on ‘publish’? Those are the options I’m presented with.

I just now switched an old blog post (that someone recently viewed, incidentally) from public to private and back to public. That didn’t fix the picture, but I noticed that I had used the visual editor to make a line of text (a subtitle of the post) red. I got rid of that and just underlined it and then switched the offending image (it was an image that had burst it’s bounds) to large rather than full. It looks fine now. It’s too late to keep playing with this today. I’ll leave it there for now.
