Haven’t built a new site yet

  I haven’t built a new site but started a new WordPress account, I haven’t assigned my domain to this new account. But I do have an active website that was built in WordPress in 2020. If I delete this new account which I accidentally created that has no connection with my active site will WordPress delete both accounts because I used the same email address? Will deleting those new account effect my active WordPress website?

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  Hi! Just so I understand correctly, the site you built in 2020 uses the free WordPress software from WordPress.org, and is hosted with another provider?

  If so, then deleting this WordPress.com account would not affect that site, as it’s not hosted with us and we are a separate entity to WordPress.org. I hope that helps, if you do have any other questions let us know!
