Haven’t received refund for website.
-
I haven’t received the $70 refund I was told I would get. It’s been 7-10 business days and nothing, so unless I’m missing something I should have it by now. Any answers would be very much appreciated.

What are the details, please?
If you want Staff to investigate you must provide specifics.
- What is the URL of the domain?
Which wordpress.COM plan did you purchase?
Which wordpress.COM site did you purchase it for?Did you carry through and you use the appropriate process found here at Canceling and Refunding Purchases https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#canceling-and-refunding-purchases to cancel and request a refund?
Did you also cancel auto-renew https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew?
Canceling and refunding purchases
There are no prorated refunds. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
• WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
• The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
• It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.Canceling domains
It is important to know that canceled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also, note that there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.Do you want to use the domain on another site?

@edmondsjackson0
Please overlook the conversation between us volunteers. This thread will get Staff attention. Note https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/havent-received-refund-for-website/#post-3166678 and provide relevant details for Staff. -
The URL in the original post is for the site I purchased the plan for, and the plan that I purchased was the premium plan.

@timethief Is that not slightly unreasonable, considering I’ve been tagging most tags (eg. “org”, “suspended site” etc.) whilst doing them? Going through all responses seems very unreasonable, I think I’ll just stop doing them to be honest.

Hi there,
If you haven’t received your refund yet, please follow up directly with your bank – your refund was processed on our end on 6 August, but we have no control over how long your bank takes to process the transaction on their end.
In your billing history in https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/ is a receipt for the refund. It includes a transaction ID from our payment processor which you can use as a reference.

@timethief, while adding relevant tags to threads are encouraged, no one is forced to add tags to threads, and you do not have the authority to tell another forum volunteer that they are required to go back and tag all past threads to which they’ve replied.
@torres126, thanks for your help in the forums. I hope you will continue helping here, and reporting issues yourself as you have been doing.
