Having a difficult time adding media now after an automatic update

  Wordpress was updated and now I have a difficult time adding media. Something about blocks this and that…really confusing. When I click on anything related to media then I get to my media page but it says ‘create a new media’ and all I want to do is add pics to my post.

  Hi there, If you’ve updated your site to WordPress 5.0, then likely you need help with the standalone WordPress program, which you will find over at https://wordpress.org/support

  To continue using the Classic Editor on your WordPress install, you can install the Classic Editor plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/ If you wish to leave feedback about your block editing experience, you can do so in this forum on org: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/requests-and-feedback/
