Having a "Read more" button on the excerpt

  OKAY… so I love the theme that I have for my blog, and I reeeeeally don’t want to change it. I’ve looked at other options and I’m not crazy about any of them. THE ONLY THING I don’t like about my current layout is that there isn’t a “read more” button for the excerpts on the main page! Does anyone know how to add this? Thanks!
