  Hi, I have a website (not thru WordPress) and I am having an app developed that will use WordPress CMS. So I need to create a WordPress account and provide access to the developer. How should I do that?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hello there,

  Do you have a WordPress installation set up via a different hosting provider?

  If yes, this would be done via Dashboard > Users > Add New.

  If you’re adding a developer to a site on WordPress.com, then these instructions: https://wordpress.com/support/user-roles/ would need to be followed.
