Having grid layout for blog posts in front page
-
Hi! I’m a beginner at WordPress and I have chosen Sela as my blogsite theme. I want to have a grid view at the landing page so it is easier for readers to see the blog posts that I have. From what I read in Sela, the grid arrangement is for pages. Can I apply this to blog posts? And how?
Greatly appreciate your help :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will have to search for a theme that display the way you want here https://wordpress.com/themes/ Note you can browse all grid-based themes here: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/grid-layout
re: switching themes
Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs.
Note that switching themes https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#switch-themes can be easily done, provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the site.We have a preview function. No content is lost when switching themes on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. It does not matter if the site is private or public. The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.

Thanks, timethief. I was hoping I could still use Sela because I already like it. But let me look at the choices with grid-based themes that you suggested.
