Having issues connecting Domain to wordpress

I’m using register.com. I connected my DNS servers but when I try to add my domain it asks me to buy it.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can I ask you what the domain name is?

You’ll point your domain to WordPress.com from your register.com control panel.

WordPress.com’s Name servers are:
```
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com
```
You’ll set those in your DNS settings on register.com.

In order to connect your own domain name with your WordPress.com account you need to have one of our paid plans.

When purchasing our Personal plan the yearly costs for connecting your domain name will be USD 13.

When purchasing our Premium or Business plan you can connect your domain name free of charge.

I’ve just realised that I’ve provided you wrong information. You can connect your external domain name with all of our plans for free. The fee of USD 13 will only be charged for additional domain mappings if you already registered a domain name with your WordPress.com account.
