Having issues inviting users–Desperate- Please Help!!

  I am leaving in a few days for a long trip abroad and I am still having issues inviting new people to my blog. People are having an issue viewing my blog after I send them an invite to sign up at WordPress. I am inviting them to be a Viewer. They receive the email from me and from there they create their own account with WordPress. Then they go back to the email and click Accept Invite which takes them back to the log in page. Once they log in with their new user account, it takes them to the page Blogs I Follow, but it does not show my blog at all. According to the directions, when they hit Accept Invite it should take them directly to the log in screen and then to my blog. Am I missing something? I want to figure this out before I leave so I would appreciate any kind of advice!
