Having Pages with Posts/Catergories On Them
-
Sorry to ask another question so fast, but is there a way to have pages on my site with posts on them
Example: I have a page called “Video Games” and i write a article about a video game. I choose a category and then it shows up under that page.
I ask this because i am trying to make a site map of my blog and it doesn’t read categories for some reason.
any help would be great
VaughnThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is a common question. I think you’ll find your answer here: https://www.google.com/search?q=pages+and+posts+site%3Aen.forums.wordpress.com&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=ubuntu&channel=fs

i am reading these posts via the search results and i can’t seem to understand what they are trying to do.
I just want to be able to set it up that when you go to a page, it has the posts on it.
sorry if i sound stupid, i have been up all night trying to sort it out. -

please re-read what I posted. PAGES cannot have posts. POSTS are different. If you want to direct people to, say, everything on your site to do with Donny Osmond, then make Donny Osmond a Category or Tag and put that in a Custom Header.

rain you posted a link, nothing about you couldn’t do it. all the links that where present in the search results has info about static pages and so forth.
i will just map out my own sitemap.xml for categories and what not.
thanks both of you -
You DON’T have to do that. Read the article by Panos that I referenced. It tells you exactly how to do it. Literally millions of people are doing this here, just as Panos explains it.

I’m afraid I don’t quite get what you’ve just said. Do you understand what a page vs post is? Have you read the links posted in this thread?
