Having problems inserting links within blog post content

  Every time that I highlight text, hit the hyperlink button to turn it into a link, fill in what i want it to do and press enter… i get a window pop up asking me if i want to navigate away from the page or cancel command. either that or it just redirects me to the page which displays the lists of posts on my site.

  I have also tried adding links via html and my wordpress doesn’t even respond.

  1. What browser and operating system are you using?

  2. When did this error start happening?

  3. Can you let me know if you come across the same error in a different browser, such as Firefox or Chrome?

  4. Do you have any firewalls or anti-virus software active on your computer?

  5. Are you able to insert or upload other media, such as images, to your site?

  You may also want to try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
