Having problems uploading different header image in freshy

I will start out by saying how utterly new I am to all of this. I love freshy, it’s my favorite theme and would love to be able to upload my own header image, I keep trying to go to the custom header image tab and I can’t even click on the choose file button, it’s just static with a grey bar highlighting it and I was able to make a screen grab of the image but I don’t know how to link to it for you to see what I’m talking about, I have it saved on my desktop but I know that’s not doing us any good. I’m also on a mac using Safari if that helps at all. I just would really appreciate any help I can get, and have it really dumbed down because I do have a hard time understanding what to do.

    thanks,
    Mia

I’m on a Mac too, and having exactly the same problem on any of the themes that (are supposed to) accept a customizable header image. Any ideas anyone?

OK, I know that you can’t upload a header image using Safari — it won’t let you click on the button for some reason, I have no idea why. So you really need to download Firefox and use that.

However, my header image is totally screwing up, too. Every time I try to upload a photo, it uploads a grey box. For some reason it worked from my computer at the office, but not at home, and yet they’re both Macs with JPG and GIF files and I’m using Firefox. It’s always worked fine until today.

Well, I am glad to know that it’s not actually me screwing it up. If I did upload on Internet Explorer on my sister’s or parent’s computer would it show up fine on my Mac? I’m not interested in changing it often, I just really love the theme but not so much the header image available. I may also be downloading Firefox soon.

It should. Safari is the program that has issues. (ie It doesn’t like the form of Javascript that’s used here.)
