having trouble accepting an invitation to be a viewer of a blog.

  how do i accept an invitation to view a blog? I have clicked on “accept invitation” but am led to a prompt that says ” user is already a member of your private site.” When I check my reader to see “Blogs I follow” this blog is not there. Please help.
