Having trouble accessing data from old sites

    I used the free WordPress site years ago to create two separate blogs (10 and 13 years ago). I can still log into my account, but I can’t get access to any of the data. I am wanting to upload media, but when I click on “my sites”, the page attempts to load but never does. It seems that since I can’t access my sites, it won’t allow me to access the media associated with either.

    Hi there,

    If My Sites won’t load, it indicates a browser problem.

    Does it not load at all, or does it only load a background containing the WordPress logo?

    Please try clearing your cache and make sure JavaScript is enabled. If you’re using Safari in Reader mode you’ll need to exit that. Also make sure your browser is updated to the most recent version – if your browser is very old all the code that WordPress.com uses might not work in it.

    Also disable any browser add-ons that might be blocking JavaScript – ad blockers and anti-tracking add-ons are the most likely culprits.

    You should also still be able to access the WP-Admin pages for your sites by adding /wp-admin to the end of the site URL.
