having trouble adding hyperlinks

  Every time I click on the “add media” button, it automatically inserts the previous hyperlink. If I close wordpress and then re-open it, this resolves the issue once, but then the next time I want to add a link it does the same thing as before. I’ve never had trouble with this feature before.
