Having trouble creating pages

Hi! I’m facing trouble with adding specific posts to a page. For instance I want to create a ‘poem’ page and want my posts with poem to be visible there. And likewise my personal blog write-ups to be on a different page. Help?

For this you need to create a blog post block. You can add either the Blog Posts block or Latest Posts block. You can find these by going to insert a block, then typing either ‘blog posts’ or ‘latest posts’ in the search bar (Blog Posts can be found under the Layout Elements heading; Latest Posts under the Widgets heading). These blocks work in the same way but look slightly different (at least in my experience).
Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to set the block to only show posts in a specific category. Select the Blog/Latest Posts block and open the Block Settings (the cog icon in the top right-hand corner). Scroll down to Display Settings and add the Categories or Tags you want to include here (for example, ‘poems’ or ‘write-ups’). For this to work, you’ll need to have added these Categories or Tags to the posts, too.
To add a Category or Tag to a post, go to the post you want to add it to, go to Categories or Tags in the Document Settings, and add the Category or Tag. (You can also create new ones under Add New Category or Add New Tag.) You can see this at https://wordpress.com/support/posts/categories/#assigning-posts-to-categories/.
