Having trouble finding the delete site button under Tools
-
Basically, I’m planning on moving this site over to another platform soon and I’m having trouble finding the delete site button. I looked under your help forums and saw that there should be a delete option under tools however I’m having trouble finding it. I’m not sure if this is a permissions thing or what have you. Thanks for your time!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t delete a site with a custom domain like yours (http://pdxcomedyblog.com/).
I’m on the Delete Site page, but I see a message that the site can’t be deleted.
You will not be able to delete your site if you’ve purchased a custom domain for it. This is because you need to keep the WordPress.com site active in order to access the domain manager. -
To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/After your create your XML export file https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/ you can make your blog private and use it as a backup site. To change blog visibility to private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 . See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
To delete the site, which I do NOT recommend here’s the link

Your WordPress.com user account, dannyfelts, doesn’t own the site pdxcomedyblog.wordpress.com or the Domain Mapping Upgrade associated with it.
Only the owner of the site can delete it.
