Having trouble finding the page layout that I am looking for.

  Hello. I need some help trying to find the site layout that I want. What I am looking for is a site that has a horizontal and vertical layout that resembles more of a spread sheet format.

  I am an artist and study many different subjects and topics. I am also a teacher and instructor. What I am trying to accomplish is a static web layout where across the top (columns) would have the category of lesson for age groups or grades first, second, third. And down the side (rows) subjects of study. Where a row and column meet would open a portfolio of images and lessons plan for that subject of study.

  If you can help me in this it would be much appreciated and if you are unable to can you point me in the direction where I can find such a format.

  Hey Stephen,

  Based on what you described, I don’t know of a theme that supports that format by default. It is something you could create in the form of a table using a table generator like this:

  http://www.tablesgenerator.com/html_tables

  But, that could get a bit messy.

  We do have grid-based themes like Gridspace:

  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/gridspace/

  But, that wouldn’t have the top and side headers like you want. Looking at the theme, do you think you could get that to work for what you’re looking for?

  I haven’t seen a theme that has the Excel function you’re looking for to be honest.
