Having trouble hiding comments section
-
Having read all the help bits, I STILL can’t hide the comments section on my pages. I’ve followed all the tips and advice, but I can’t seem to find the check boxes the help tells me to find.
Can anyone help me? :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you want to disable all comments on all pages and posts, go to Settings->Discussion and disable them there.
Double check that you’ve expanded every option on the Edit Post page; if you have a compact view, the options do not appear the way they do when everything is expanded.

You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

You can reveal it by clicking on Screen Options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ on the top right corner of your Admin page, and checking the box that says Discussion so the module is included. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules

i don’t want to see others’ comments on my comments to other people’s blogs. too many people go nuts over reality tv figures.
is there a way to stop seeing others’ comments on my comments? referring to the scroll down window showing people’s responses to my comments.
thank you.
