Having trouble inserting breaks into my blog.

    Whenever I hit “Enter” in my post, it does add a space between two paragraphs, but it doesn’t actually do it when I go and preview the post. I tried adding in the < br > code, but that didn’t do anything. Perhaps it’s my template? But I highly doubt that, since I still have to edit my posts in WordPress itself.

    Try these:
    <br /> note the space prior to the /
    and
    &nbsp;

    I have a similar problem with a wordpress blog we run at our university; oddly enough, even when we add in the code, it still doesn’t make a return in the actual screen view. We just have made extra returns everywhere.

    Please do report back and let me know if this works for you, because it might help me figure out what’s going on.
