  Why can I not upload images for my blog header without resorting to an unsafe connection??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Where are you seeing the unsafe connection? Perhaps a screenshot can help.

  According to your theme documentation-

  Lovecraft supports a Custom Header Image.
  To change the default header image, go to <em>My Sites → Customize → Header Image</em> and upload your own custom header image. You can upload multiple header images and choose to randomly show one of the uploaded header images on each page load.
