Having trouble posting a photo from another website

  I copied & tried to paste a photo from a website onto a blog post but I can’t figure out how to do this ~ Do I use “Link” box when I add the photo to my blog post, or just how do I paste the picture? ~
  Sorry I seem to be asking so many questions! ~ Thanks for any help

  You cannot copy and paste images. They have to be hosted on web servers somewhere online and you have to have permission from the copyright holder to use them.

  These are the accepted file types:
  .jpg/.jpeg
  .gif
  .png

  I was trying to get a photo from Pinterest onto a blog post, and it appeared on the post as a link ~ Is that ok? ~ I wanted the actual picture, instead of a link. Is there a way to do that?…Thanks for any help, I appreciate it!
