Having trouble reconnecting my LinkedIn account to WordPress

I tried to reconnect my LinkedIn account when I was told it had to be reconnected, but I keep getting this error: ‘The LinkedIn connection could not be made because no account was selected.’
When I hit ‘connect,’ my LinkedIn account information popped up and asked me to allow it. I did that. So I have definitely chosen an account.
So I’m not sure what’s going on. Any help would be appreciated.
