Having Trouble Setting Up the Full-Width Template on Dara Theme

Greetings! So on my website, I have a page (Jewelry) that has four subpages (Earrings, Necklaces, Bracelets, and Sets) and I’m trying to activate the Full-Width Template that the Dara theme features so that the Jewelry page looks like the one on the theme demo. I tried following all the steps to no avail. Can someone please help me with this? I would very much appreciate it.

    Hi,

I’m trying to activate the Full-Width Template that the Dara theme features so that the Jewelry page looks like the one on the theme demo.

See the Template section of the Page Attributes support page for instructions on how to change the page template on a theme that has optional page templates.

The Jewelry page on your site evidently has the Grid Page template assigned to it, not the Full-Width template. You may change the template, but I don’t think you’ll get the result that you want. On the Dara theme, the Grid Page template displays child pages in a grid AND hides the sidebar widget area. If you change the template of that page to Full-Width, No Sidebar, it will display at full-width and hide the sidebar widget area, but it won’t display the grid of child pages.

The Services page on the Dara demo has the Grid Page template assigned to it, and it resembles your Jewelry page in that it displays a grid of child pages and hides the sidebar widget area.

Please try again if I’ve misunderstood what you’re trying to do.

Which page on the demo do you want your Jewelry page to resemble?
