Why am I having trouble adding new users (my students)?

    am a teacher and I’m trying to sign up my students for wordpress blogs. Mostly the process has gone smoothly. However, I’m now having multiple students who are seeing a “try again in 60 minutes. The more you try to register, the longer the delay in signing up will be.”

    two questions.
    – why is this happening to some students but not others?
    – is there any way around this issue so I can sign up my students?

    Hi Charlie,

    There are a variety of reasons that this may be happening. Are you the one trying to register your students or are they registering from home? Similarly, are they registering from the same location – i.e. a school computer lab?

    Can you also let me know if they’re signing up via invitation emails or just creating a new WordPress account via WordPress.com?
