Having trouble uploading GIFs.

  I am trying to upload animated GIFs to my blog. After I add them via the ADD MEDIA button and then click preview, most but not all only appear as a link of the file’s name. You can view the animation in new window after clicking on this link but I would like them to play instantly once a viewer is directed to the site. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

  When uploading an animated GIF you must make sure that WP does not re-size your picture (otherwise it will no longer animate). In other words, re-size (to say 500 width) it yourself before uploading to WP.
