Having trouble uploading photos

I tried pulling an image from the gallery this morning but it still would not let me rotate the photo. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the link. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes. -

Do you have any luck if you check or uncheck “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages” at Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard?

Same problem here and has been for weeks. I haven’t updated the blog for a couple of weeks because I was so annoyed by all the mucking about trying and retrying to upload pictures last time. I was hoping the problem would have been sorted in the meantime but it hasn’t. Really really annoyed. The photo loads up to 70 – 80% and then switches to ‘crunching’, where it stays indefinitely. Maybe one in twenty tries the pic will upload, although so far today nothing at all will upload.

I use the latest version of firefox, though I’ve also tried on chrome and IE which don’t work. I’ve taken all the steps advised.Please fix this!

OMG I’m so glad to know it’s not just me. I’ve tried doing it on two different computers today and neither are working. I can upload my pictures, but then I can’t get into them to edit them. Need help.

I checked the box and tried to access my photos to edit and all that came up was a box. I can see the photos until I press the edit button and then a box appears–like it didn’t load right. But even photos that I uploaded with no problem months ago are showing up as boxes when I try to access them for editing.

JPEG is this what you mean? I’ve been using this for a little over a year now without any problem…..

it’s Internet Explorer on both computers I’ve tried–not sure which version. The one at home was just bought less than a year ago, so I would assume it’s a rather new version.
